Arrival at CMC
| All adults and children must have a valid ticket to enter the theater. Ushers will scan tickets as patrons enter the breakout areas before the performance. No one is permitted in the theater prior to the scheduled door opening, or 30 minutes prior to the performance. Arrive in plenty of time to be seated: Advanced ticket holders 30-45 minutes prior; all other ticket holders, arrive one hour prior.
Late seating is at the discretion of CMC Management at a time when it is least disruptive to the audience. Late-seating is not be available at all performances.

Limited Parking
|
Parking is limited to 250 spaces. Overflow parking is available at both BB&T and First Community Banks. Ride sharing is encouraged.

Finding Your Seats
|
Ushers are ready to assist you in finding your seat in the theater. All EVEN numbered tickets will enter the Right side of the theater; ODD numbered tickets will enter the Left side. A ticket displayed as HF-A-2, translates to Section “House Front”, Row A, Seat 2. Note: This does not apply for performances that are General Admissions

Ticket Refunds
|
There are no refunds once tickets are purchased. If you are unable to use your ticket(s) to a CMC presentation, you may donate them to CMC as a tax-deductible contribution. Donate tickets anytime up to 12 hours prior to the show listed on the ticket(s). Donations are not accepted after the performance. Call CMC at 304-425-5128, or you may return tickets to the CMC Box Office.

Right to Refuse
|
CMC reserves the right to refuse admittance to all parties found using the same ticket to access the theatre.

Lost Tickets
|
Tickets are reprinted for a fee of $6.00 each.

Program
Changes
|
Programs and artists are subject to change. If an event presented by CMC has been canceled or postponed, any changes will be published - if time permits- on the website (chuckmathenacenter.org), email, and/or local newspaper. If you want to confirm that a concert is taking place, call 304-425-5128.

Photography, videotaping or audio recording of any performance is prohibited inside the theater unless otherwise noted.

Reselling
Tickets
|
The CMC strictly prohibits reselling tickets above face value with the exception of special funding opportunities, for non-profit and charitable organizations that are approved by the CMC and the state of West Virginia.
If an individual, faculty/staff member, company or other entity is found to have sold or offered their tickets to one or more events for a greater amount than the face value, or sold their tickets to a ticket broker/agency who in turn resells the tickets for a greater amount than face value of the tickets, they will be denied ticket privileges for a minimum period of 2 years.
Repeat offenders will be subject to stricter penalties up to and including permanent revocation.

Merchandise
|
CMC and featured performing artists may have merchandise for sell available at intermission and before and after their performance.

Common
Courtesy
|
Tobacco products and usage are not permitted in the facility.
Food and Drink are not permitted at anytime in the theater.
Cellular phones, electronic pagers and watch beepers are to be turned off before the performance. Please remain seated during the show, giving the artist your full attention and the audience around you full respect.

Accessibility
|
Handicap ramps are indicated on the facility access maps. Individuals using crutches: please ask for usher assistance in storing them during the performance.
Accessible and companion seating, is available. Please request when ordering tickets so that we may reserve your seats.

Security
|
CMC will ensure the safety of our audience, artists, and employees. We appreciate your cooperation with necessary security measures. We suggest that you not bring large bags, parcels, or luggage to CMC, if at all possible. All parcels and bags, including handbags are subject to inspection, and management reserves the right to limit access to the premises, if necessary.

Emergency
Exits
|
In the event of an emergency, please look for the lighted exit signs and leave the building. Remain calm as CMC ushers assist all patrons in an orderly evacuation.

CMC reserves the right to remove anyone violating the any of the above policy from the premises.
